The thing with the Muggle photo is silly and incorrect. I think in second book Colin Creevey was taking his photos with a Muggle camera and yet - the photos were moving. The reason for that was they were using a special potion to develop those photos which made photos magical. The thing in the newspaper is fans creating elaborate explanations to sloppiness of filmmakers.

Also the thing with the car I would say that it's not them trying to blend but more creators trying to point to how boring and muggle-like they were.
